Air Commodore Narsingh Sailani has underscored the pivotal role National Cadet Corps trainees must play in safeguarding India's unity and cohesion, addressing participants at a ten-day national integration camp in Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh.
The camp, held at Gandigunta, has drawn approximately 300 cadets representing 16 directorates from across the country. The gathering brings together young cadets from diverse regions and backgrounds to foster mutual understanding and strengthen bonds of national integration.
Air Commodore Sailani stressed that NCC cadets, as future leaders and citizens, carry a significant responsibility in promoting harmony and preserving the nation's secular fabric. The integration camp provides cadets with an opportunity to interact with peers from different parts of India, enabling them to appreciate the country's cultural diversity while reinforcing shared national values.
The NCC has long been recognized as a platform for developing disciplined leadership and instilling a sense of patriotic duty among India's youth. Such integration camps serve as key initiatives in the corps' broader mission to nurture cadets who can contribute meaningfully to national development and social cohesion.
