The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) will conduct a one-day practical workshop focused on food labelling and advertising regulations applicable within the country. The workshop is scheduled for Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. at the NCCSL premises in Colombo 10.

The initiative aims to provide participants with practical insights into compliance requirements governing the food and beverage sector in Sri Lanka. The workshop is designed to help business owners, marketing professionals, and industry stakeholders understand the regulatory frameworks that govern product labelling standards and advertising practices in the local market.

By bringing together industry experts and regulatory specialists, the NCCSL seeks to bridge the knowledge gap between current regulations and business practices. Participants are expected to gain clarity on mandatory labelling requirements, prohibited advertising claims, and best practices for ensuring regulatory compliance.

The workshop represents part of broader efforts by the chamber to enhance industry standards and support member businesses in maintaining regulatory compliance. Further details regarding registration and participation fees are available through the National Chamber of Commerce.
