NCRPO bolsters emergency response with new motorcycle fleet

MANILA — The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) has taken delivery of fresh motorcycles aimed at strengthening emergency response operations across the capital region. The deployment underscores efforts to improve the speed and efficiency of the police force's 911 hotline services.
Brigadier General Christopher Abrahano, NCRPO chief, said the motorcycles will prove particularly valuable in areas with challenging road conditions and during periods of heavy traffic congestion. Two-wheeled vehicles can navigate congested urban streets more effectively than standard patrol cars, allowing officers to reach emergency scenes faster.
The move comes as Metro Manila continues to grapple with severe traffic congestion that has hindered emergency response times across the sprawling metropolitan area. By deploying motorcycles as part of its emergency response apparatus, the NCRPO aims to ensure that 911 calls receive faster police attention.
The additional motorcycles represent an investment in operational capability for one of the Philippines' most critical law enforcement agencies. The NCRPO serves the National Capital Region, which comprises Metro Manila and surrounding provinces.
