NCRPO deploys 73 motorcycles to strengthen Metro Manila emergency response

Metro Manila's police force is bolstering its emergency response capabilities with the addition of 73 motorcycles, which were formally turned over to the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) on Wednesday. The deployment addresses operational challenges in densely populated areas where conventional patrol vehicles face congestion and access difficulties.
Brigadier General Christopher Abrahano, the NCRPO chief, emphasized that the motorcycles will directly support the region's 911 emergency hotline system. The nimble two-wheeled vehicles are particularly suited for navigating congested streets and reaching areas inaccessible to larger patrol units, potentially reducing response times during peak traffic periods.
