The 2026 Northern Rural Industrial Products Exhibition and Trade Fair has opened with 492 participating booths, providing a significant platform for rural producers across northern Vietnam. Approximately 250 of these booths are dedicated to displaying and promoting typical rural industrial products, as well as achievements in industrial and handicraft development.
The fair brings together producers from Hai Phong and other northern localities, offering them an opportunity to showcase their goods to a broader market. The exhibition highlights the region's traditional craftsmanship and contemporary production capabilities in rural industries, ranging from artisanal products to manufactured goods rooted in local expertise.
The event aligns with broader government initiatives aimed at strengthening rural economies across Vietnam. These efforts include linking craft villages with agritourism ventures and implementing programmes designed to increase rural incomes in the coming years. The exhibition serves as a practical mechanism to connect producers directly with potential customers and business partners.
The trade fair reflects Vietnam's continued focus on developing its rural industrial sector as a cornerstone of economic growth and employment in provincial areas. By creating platforms for producers to demonstrate their products and establish commercial relationships, such exhibitions support sustainable development in regions beyond major urban centers.
