The investiture ceremony took place under Tuanku Muhriz's presidency, recognising the distinguished service and contributions of the three Undang Luaks to Negeri Sembilan.
The Darjah Kebesaran, the state's highest order of honour, represents a significant acknowledgement of the recipients' roles in preserving the state's traditional governance structures and cultural heritage.
Faris Johari, Azrin Khairi, and Hassan Ab Hamid hold prominent positions within Negeri Sembilan's traditional administrative framework, serving as Undang Luaks—custodians of customary law and protocol—for their respective districts of Sungei Ujong, Jelebu, and Rembau.
The conferment of these honours underscores the continued importance of traditional institutions in Negeri Sembilan's governance and the state's commitment to recognising those who uphold these time-honoured practices.
