In remarks underlining the force's operational priorities, Ahmad emphasised that the police maintain an impartial stance while safeguarding public security across the state. The statement comes as the police chief sought to clarify the force's role in supporting Malaysia's constitutional, legislative and institutional processes. Ahmad said the police remain dedicated to their core mandate of maintaining law and order without taking sides in matters of governance.
