Nepal accepts Malaysian SMART disaster relief team deployment

Nepal has formally accepted the deployment of Malaysia's SMART disaster relief team, according to the National Disaster Management Authority (Nadma). The agreement was reached following a series of negotiations spearheaded by Wisma Putra, Malaysia's Foreign Ministry, which worked to coordinate the relief effort with Nepalese authorities.

The SMART team represents Malaysia's specialized emergency response capability, comprising trained personnel equipped to provide rapid humanitarian assistance in disaster-affected areas.
