New police chief takes helm of Northern Mindanao regional force

Babagay is a career police officer and member of the Philippine National Police Academy's "Patnubay" Class of 1995. His appointment continues a rotation of senior officers within the Philippine National Police's regional command structure.
As regional police director, Babagay will oversee law enforcement operations across Northern Mindanao's various provincial and municipal police units. The position carries responsibility for implementing national police policies and addressing regional security concerns.
