Newly Built Mullaitivu Post Office Opens to Public
A newly constructed post office facility in Mullaitivu was officially inaugurated and opened to the public on Wednesday morning. The project was completed under the oversight of the Health and other government officials.

The modern Mullaitivu Post Office, a fully equipped postal facility, was formally vested in public service during a ceremony held in the Northern Province district. The inauguration marks completion of infrastructure development aimed at improving postal services in the region.
The new post office is expected to enhance mail distribution and financial services for residents and businesses in the Mullaitivu area. The facility has been constructed to contemporary standards with improved operational capacity compared to its predecessor.
Government officials from the Health Ministry and other relevant departments participated in the formal handover ceremony, underscoring the administration's commitment to developing essential services infrastructure across the island.
The opening of the facility is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen government service delivery and connectivity in post-war reconstruction areas of the Northern Province.
