Nexus Select Trust NOI climbs 8% to ₹504 crore in Q2

Nexus Select Trust, which focuses on retail property assets, reported net operating income of ₹504 crore during the quarter ended September 2026, reflecting an 8 per cent increase from the prior year period. The performance was underpinned by sustained momentum in consumer spending and continued demand for retail leasing space across the REIT's portfolio.

Distributions to unitholders climbed to ₹359 crore in the quarter, also marking an 8 per cent rise year-on-year. The parallel growth in both metrics suggests improved operational efficiency and strong cash generation from the trust's retail property holdings.

The results align with broader trends in India's retail real estate sector, where consumer spending has remained resilient despite macroeconomic headwinds. The sustained leasing momentum indicates continued tenant interest in quality retail spaces, supporting the REIT's revenue trajectory.

REITs have become increasingly attractive investment vehicles for Indian retail investors seeking exposure to stable, income-generating real estate assets. Nexus Select Trust's performance adds to the narrative of steady returns in the sector, though broader market conditions and consumer behavior will remain key factors to monitor in coming quarters.
