Christian McCaffrey, running back for the San Francisco 49ers, and Olivia Culpo, the former Miss Universe and model, welcomed their second child into the family with the birth of son Roman Augustus McCaffrey. The arrival marks another milestone for the high-profile couple, who have been sharing glimpses of their family life with the public.
The name selection reflects a classical influence, with Roman drawing from ancient Roman civilization and Augustus evoking the title of Rome's first emperor, Caesar Augustus. The combination of names carries historical weight, connecting the infant to a legacy spanning millennia of Western cultural heritage.
