NIT Calicut's 22nd convocation will mark a significant expansion in the institute's academic output, with 2,128 students set to graduate across multiple disciplines and qualification levels. The August 29 ceremony represents the largest graduating batch in the institution's history.

The graduating cohort comprises a diverse mix of academic programmes. Bachelor of Technology students form the largest segment with 1,162 graduates, followed by 575 Master of Technology candidates. The batch also includes 130 doctoral degree holders, 102 Master of Science graduates, 76 MBA recipients, 65 Bachelor of Architecture students, and 18 Master of Planning graduates.

The convocation reflects robust student intake and completion rates across NIT Calicut's engineering, management, and science programmes. The institute, located in Kerala's Kozhikode district, has established itself as a premier centre for technical and professional education in South India.

The conferment of degrees across such a broad spectrum of programmes underscores the institute's expansion of academic offerings beyond traditional engineering disciplines to encompass management studies, architecture, urban planning, and advanced research degrees.
