NLCIL and C-DAC join forces on green digital infrastructure

NLC India Limited (NLCIL), one of India's largest power generation companies, has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) to identify and develop green digital infrastructure initiatives. The agreement was formalized to foster technological collaboration between the two organizations in areas where digital innovation intersects with environmental sustainability.

Under the partnership framework, both entities will explore opportunities to integrate advanced computing solutions with NLCIL's operations while maintaining a focus on reducing environmental impact. C-DAC, a premier research and development organization under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, brings significant expertise in high-performance computing and digital technologies, while NLCIL contributes extensive experience in the energy sector.

The collaboration is expected to identify specific projects and initiatives where green digital infrastructure can enhance operational efficiency, data management, and sustainability metrics across NLCIL's portfolio. Both organizations will work to develop technical roadmaps and feasibility studies for potential joint ventures in this domain.
