MANILA, Philippines — Slow-moving traffic continued to grip the northbound section of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) in Tulaoc, Pampanga, on Thursday morning, the NLEX Corporation reported.

As of 6:50 a.m., the expressway operator confirmed a traffic buildup spanning roughly 1.5 kilometers along the northbound lanes in the Tulaoc area. The congestion stemmed from flooding conditions that had affected the corridor over the preceding days, restricting traffic flow and causing extended travel times for commuters.

The NLEX Corporation did not provide an estimated timeframe for when normal traffic conditions would resume. Motorists using the northbound lanes were advised to exercise caution and allow additional travel time.
