Non-life insurance premiums in India climbed 10 per cent year-on-year to ₹27,454.5 crore in August, reflecting sustained consumer appetite for coverage amid growing health consciousness and economic activity.
Standalone health insurers emerged as the primary growth driver, posting an impressive 30.4 per cent year-on-year increase in premiums to ₹4,377.14 crore during the same period, according to data from the General Insurance Council.
