Non Nuoc Cao Bang Global Geopark in northern Vietnam has reaffirmed its status as a UNESCO-designated geopark following its latest revalidation cycle, marking the second consecutive successful review of the site's management and conservation efforts.

The geopark's retention of its official credential reflects ongoing initiatives to balance geological heritage protection with economic development for local communities. The designation places Non Nuoc Cao Bang among a global network of 241 geoparks spanning 51 countries, elevating Vietnam's profile in international scientific and conservation circles.

As a UNESCO Global Geopark, Non Nuoc Cao Bang serves as a platform for promoting sustainable tourism and environmental education while supporting livelihood opportunities for residents in the region. The site's unique geological formations and karst landscapes have become increasingly important for both scientific research and economic development in the province.

The revalidation process evaluates geoparks on criteria including geodiversity management, community engagement, and sustainable development integration. Non Nuoc Cao Bang's successful reviews indicate that local authorities and stakeholders have effectively implemented strategies to preserve the site's scientific value while fostering socioeconomic benefits for surrounding communities.
