NoPixel co-owner xQc has attributed the absence of major GTA RP streamers from NoPixel 5.0, which launched on September 8, to voluntary departures and prior disputes within the gaming community. The explanation addresses questions about missing players including Summit1G and members of the Chang Gang faction, prominent figures in the NoPixel ecosystem.
According to xQc, some streamers have chosen to leave the server and establish their own gaming communities rather than participate in the latest iteration. The co-owner acknowledged that certain players had previously levelled criticisms against NoPixel, creating friction within the broader roleplay community.
Regarding Summit1G specifically, xQc stated the streamer could return to NoPixel if he wished to do so. However, the co-owner suggested Summit1G has opted to remain absent due to concerns over friend invitations, indicating underlying social dynamics may be influencing participation decisions.
