The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) issued its forecast Wednesday morning, anticipating moisture-laden systems to affect northern and eastern sections of Luzon on November 4.
The northeast monsoon, locally known as amihan, combined with easterly wind patterns, will generate scattered showers and thunderstorms across affected areas, according to Pagasa's 5 a.m. weather advisory. Residents in these regions should remain alert for possible localized flooding in low-lying areas and landslides in mountainous terrain.
Meanwhile, the remainder of the Philippine archipelago, including the Visayas, Mindanao, and unaffected portions of Luzon, will continue to experience the prevailing warm, dry conditions typical of the season. Pagasa noted that these areas will maintain hot temperatures with generally clear to partly cloudy skies throughout the forecast period.
Weather officials urged the public to monitor updated bulletins as atmospheric conditions can shift. Residents in rain-affected zones were advised to take necessary precautions and keep emergency preparedness measures in place.
