NorthEast United thrash Kerala Blasters 4-1 in dominant home display

NorthEast United FC dominated proceedings from the outset, breaking the deadlock in the 15th minute through Ajaraie's clinical finishing. The forward latched onto a precision pass from Eneko Satrustegui before rounding Kerala goalkeeper Arsh Anwer and slotting the ball home with ease.

The home side continued to assert control throughout the first half, creating multiple scoring opportunities. While Kerala Blasters mounted occasional counter-attacks through striker Andre Green, their efforts lacked the potency to trouble NorthEast's backline significantly. The Highlanders extended their lead just before the interval when Antonio Moyano converted at the stroke of halftime, giving them a commanding 2-0 advantage heading into the break.

Ajaraie added his second goal in the 70th minute to further extend NorthEast's dominance, before debutant Aman CK capped off an impressive team performance with a goal in the 82nd minute. The four-goal haul underscored the Highlanders' attacking prowess and superior execution on the day, with the Kerala side unable to mount any meaningful comeback despite scoring a consolation goal.
