Police Brig. Gen. Christopher Abrahano has been designated as the new officer in charge of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), the Philippine National Police announced. Abrahano previously served as director of the Police Regional Office in Northern Mindanao (PRO 10).
The appointment was confirmed by Philippine National Police public information chief Col. Allen Rae Co, marking a significant reassignment within the police hierarchy. The NCRPO oversees police operations across Metro Manila and surrounding areas.
Abrahano's move to lead the capital region's police operations comes as the PNP continues to adjust its command structure across various regions. The specific effective date of his assumption of duties was not immediately disclosed.
The NCRPO is one of the largest and most operationally demanding police regional offices in the country, given the density of the national capital region and its metropolitan areas.
