According to a Thursday advisory, the hospital is currently housing 372 patients despite having only 302 operational beds, creating a 23 percent overage that threatens service quality and staff resources.
The provincial government-run hospital has requested that partner health facilities and the general public restrict transfers to cases requiring specialized treatment or higher-level medical intervention. Officials signaled that non-critical patients should seek care at lower-tier health centers to relieve pressure on the facility.
