NSCR Clark station nears three-quarters completion ahead of 2027 launch

MANILA — The Department of Transportation said Monday that construction work on the North-South Commuter Railway's Clark station in Pampanga province continues to advance, with the facility now more than 70 percent complete. The station, a key component of the NSCR extension project, has achieved 73.29% completion as of the latest progress report. DOTr Undersecretary for Railways Timothy John Batan expressed confidence that the initial phase of NSCR operations along the extension will commence by the final quarter of 2027. The Clark station represents a significant milestone in the country's infrastructure development, aimed at improving mass transit connectivity in the northern regions. The DOTr has been monitoring construction progress closely to ensure the project stays on schedule for its anticipated operational launch.
