Four major brokerages have reaffirmed or initiated Buy ratings on NSE shares, signaling confidence in the exchange's growth trajectory amid evolving market dynamics. Kotak Institutional Equities, Jefferies, B&K Securities and Emkay Global have all backed the stock with positive recommendations, reflecting optimism about the company's operational and financial prospects.

The bullish outlook is underpinned by two key factors shaping NSE's business environment. Changes to the Clearing and Settlement Systems (CAS) framework are expected to streamline operations and enhance efficiency, while the resurgence in options trading volumes presents significant revenue opportunities for the exchange.

Options trading has emerged as a substantial contributor to exchange revenues and retail participation in recent years. Brokerages believe continued growth in derivatives volumes, coupled with structural improvements to clearing mechanisms, will translate into improved profitability and shareholder returns.

The collective price targets from the four institutions span a narrow band between Rs 2,050 and Rs 2,200 per share, suggesting broad agreement among analysts on the near-term valuation potential. This consensus underscores market confidence in NSE's competitive positioning and management's ability to capitalize on emerging opportunities in India's rapidly evolving capital markets landscape.
