NTA releases exam calendar for JEE Main 2027, UGC NET and CUET PG

The National Test Agency (NTA) has released its comprehensive examination calendar for the coming academic cycle, providing students with clarity on test dates for major national-level assessments. The calendar covers a four-month window from December 2026 to March 2027, during which five examinations are scheduled to take place in both December and January.

JEE Main 2027, the gateway examination for engineering aspirants seeking admission to premier institutions across India, features prominently in the calendar. The examination, which determines eligibility for the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced, will be conducted according to the newly announced schedule.

Beyond JEE Main, the calendar encompasses other critical competitive examinations including the UGC NET and CUET PG tests. These examinations serve as primary assessment tools for postgraduate admissions and research fellowships across Indian universities. The staggered scheduling across December and January allows the NTA to manage the logistical demands of conducting large-scale examinations while providing candidates with adequate preparation time.

Students are advised to note the examination dates and plan their preparation accordingly. The complete calendar enables educational institutions and coaching centres to align their schedules with the official test dates. Candidates are encouraged to monitor the NTA website for any updates or additional notifications regarding examination procedures and registration timelines.
