MANILA — Members of the National Unity Party pressed the House of Representatives on Wednesday to revise the proposed 2027 national budget, citing what they characterized as serious structural problems affecting their ability to execute projects and distribute social programs in their respective districts.
The lawmakers highlighted what they described as a pattern of significant delays in fund releases and allocations that have hampered development initiatives and aid delivery across NUP-represented areas.
