The two-time Olympic medallist has flagged concerns about the timeline remaining for teams to fine-tune their preparations and secure necessary resources ahead of the 2028 Games. Bindra's call for urgency reflects the competitive pressures facing Indian sports bodies as they seek to maximise medal prospects at the global showpiece. The emphasis on prompt action underscores the importance of early groundwork in training regimens, infrastructure development, and athlete support systems. With approximately 20 months remaining before the LA Olympics commence, sports administrators and coaching staff across disciplines face mounting pressure to accelerate their preparation strategies. Bindra's intervention adds weight to ongoing discussions within India's sporting establishment about resource allocation and logistical readiness for international competition at the highest level.
