Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath mounted a scathing critique of opposition parties at a BJP Shakti Kendra conference held in Meerut on Tuesday, drawing a cultural and ideological contrast between the ruling party and its rivals.

Addressing the gathering, Adityanath accused the Samajwadi Party, Congress, Bahujan Samaj Party, and the INDIA alliance of using political power as a tool for dynastic gain and exploitation. He characterized their approach to governance as fundamentally self-serving.

In contrast, the chief minister outlined the BJP's organizational philosophy, stating that the party places the nation above all other considerations. "For us, the party is greater than the individual, and the nation is greater than the party," Adityanath said, emphasizing what he described as the party's commitment to national interest over personal or familial advantage.

The remarks reflected the BJP's ongoing campaign messaging ahead of forthcoming elections, positioning itself as a nationalist alternative to opposition parties that it contends prioritize family and factional interests. Adityanath's language drew on historical and religious symbolism to appeal to the party's core constituency while criticizing opposition coalitions.
