Ooredoo Myanmar Extends Tech Age Girls Program for 2022-2023

Ooredoo Myanmar has committed to continuing its support for the Tech Age Girls (TAG) Myanmar Program throughout the 2022-2023 period, the company announced. The initiative aims to empower young women through digital technology education while addressing gender disparities in technological access and skills.

The program will accommodate 220 female participants during the current cycle. TAG is structured as a comprehensive year-long training program designed specifically for young women, providing them with essential digital technology skills and knowledge.

The telecommunications provider's continued investment in the program reflects ongoing efforts to bridge the digital gender divide in Myanmar. By equipping young women with technological competencies, the initiative seeks to expand opportunities for female participation in the country's growing digital economy and technology sector.
