OpenAI acquires smartphone camera technology firm Glass Imaging

Glass Imaging was founded in 2019 by Ziv Attar and Tom Bishop, both former Apple engineers who previously contributed to the development of Portrait Mode, the popular computational photography feature on iPhones.
