At least 330 barangays in Pampanga remain underwater as flooding persists across the province, according to the Office of Civil Defense (OCD). Assistant Secretary Raffy Alejandro IV made the assessment Monday, noting that water levels have remained elevated throughout much of Pampanga despite ongoing relief efforts.
The widespread flooding has affected communities across the province, with emergency officials observing that some areas are experiencing waterlogging for the first time. The unprecedented nature of flooding in certain villages has complicated response and recovery operations.
