MANILA — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) reported strong results from the October 2026 Physicians Licensure Examination, with 4,165 of 4,447 examinees successfully passing the assessment.

The 93.6 percent passing rate reflects consistent performance in the medical licensing examination, which serves as the gateway credential for physicians practicing in the Philippines. The University of Santo Tomas achieved the highest institutional performance, with all 312 of its examinees earning passing scores.

Four additional schools also achieved perfect passing rates, though the PRC did not immediately disclose their identities or the number of examinees from each institution. The examination results underscore the quality of medical education across the country's leading medical schools.

The PRC's announcement marks the completion of another examination cycle for the medical profession. Candidates who passed the licensure examination can now proceed with their professional registration and begin medical practice in the country.
