OYO Parent PRISM Posts 17% Profit Growth Ahead of IPO Launch

PRISM has demonstrated robust financial performance in the first quarter of fiscal 2026-27, with consolidated profit after tax reaching Rs 353 crore compared to Rs 301 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The results, based on audited financials, highlight the company's strong momentum as it prepares for a public market debut.

Operational revenue climbed 35 per cent year-on-year to Rs 2,814 crore in Q1 FY27, against Rs 2,078 crore in the same quarter last year. The company's Gross Booking Value expanded 30 per cent to approximately Rs 9,600 crore during the quarter, reflecting sustained demand across its hospitality portfolio.

Growth metrics indicate broad-based expansion across PRISM's business segments. The hotel segment recorded 30 per cent year-on-year growth in bookings, while the vacation homes business achieved 28 per cent growth in the same period. The diversified performance underscores the resilience of both core operations.

It is noteworthy that the quarterly profit included a deferred-tax credit of approximately Rs 244 crore, according to the company's audited financials. The strong financial position comes as PRISM prepares to launch its initial public offering, which is expected to enhance its capital base and market visibility in the competitive hospitality sector.
