The Padang Rengas Member of Parliament was transferred to the National Heart Institute on Wednesday after experiencing health complications while attending Parliament.

According to his special officer Norakmalina Abu Kassim, medical staff at the facility conducted comprehensive examinations following the lawmaker's admission. The assessments confirmed he had not sustained a heart attack, allaying initial concerns about the nature of his condition.

Doctors attending to the MP advised a 24-hour rest period to facilitate recovery. No further details regarding the specific cause of the parliamentary session incident were disclosed at the time of reporting.
