KUALA LUMPUR — Pakatan Harapan sought to ease concerns about cracks in the Unity Government on Monday, insisting there were no ill feelings after Umno omitted the opposition-turned-government partner from its annual assembly guest list.
The development marks the latest visible tension between the two major coalitions that jointly govern Malaysia, with Umno taking a notably different approach from previous years by excluding Pakatan Harapan from the marquee event.
