The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced its roster for the Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026, naming an experienced captain to lead the side in the competition against India and other regional opponents.
The squad selection reflects PCB's strategy to blend established talent with rising prospects for the tournament. Several seasoned cricketers have been included in the lineup, providing experience alongside emerging players who represent Pakistan's future in the sport.
The Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026 will serve as a platform for younger talent to gain competitive international exposure while competing against similarly developing squads from neighboring cricket nations. Pakistan's participation marks another chapter in the regional tournament's evolution.
The announcement comes as Pakistan continues to develop its cricket pipeline across multiple formats. The PCB has emphasized the importance of providing opportunities for promising athletes to demonstrate their capabilities at regional level before potential elevation to senior squads.
