Pakistan deepens military ties across Gulf region amid strategic shift

Pakistan has strengthened military and defence cooperation with Kuwait, marking the latest in a series of agreements with Gulf Cooperation Council states aimed at broadening its security presence in the Middle East. The expansion reflects Islamabad's strategic pivot toward deepening ties with wealthy Gulf nations, building on existing relationships with Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

The defence arrangements typically encompass military training, joint exercises, and security cooperation, positioning Pakistan as a key defence partner for Gulf states concerned about regional instability.
