Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled its squads for the T20 International series and ODI tri-series scheduled to take place in Sri Lanka in the coming weeks. The selections reflect the board's strategy to balance experience with fresh talent as the national team prepares for international competition.
The T20 squad comprises players identified for their recent domestic performances and international exposure, while the ODI tri-series roster aims to provide competitive representation against multiple opponents. The selectors have included several players from Pakistan's domestic cricket circuit alongside established national team members.
The tour marks an important fixture in Pakistan's international cricket calendar, offering the squad opportunities to fine-tune their preparations ahead of upcoming global tournaments. Both squads have been assembled following consultation between the PCB's selection committee and the team's coaching staff.
The T20 and ODI formats will provide separate competitive windows for players to demonstrate their form and fitness. Pakistan's coaching staff will use the series to assess player combinations and strategies before the team's subsequent international commitments.
