Pakistani cricket veteran praises India's dramatic T20 victory over New Zealand

India recovered from a vulnerable position to secure victory in their second T20 International against New Zealand, with middle-order batsmen Tilak Varma and Neetiish Kumar Reddy steering the team to an improbable win. The pair's partnership proved crucial after India had lost five wickets with only 70 runs on the board, a situation that appeared to be slipping away from the host nation.

Tilak Varma's composed batting display during the recovery sequence caught the attention of cricket enthusiasts and analysts alike. His contribution, combined with Reddy's aggressive yet calculated approach, helped India navigate out of troubled waters and eventually cross the finish line.

The comeback victory has resonated well beyond India's borders, with cricket veterans from neighbouring Pakistan reportedly expressing admiration for the team's fighting spirit and technical execution during the critical phase of the innings. The win underscores India's ability to bounce back under pressure, a quality that has become increasingly important in T20 cricket's unpredictable format.

The performance is expected to boost confidence in India's squad depth, particularly among emerging talent in the middle order ahead of upcoming international commitments.
