Palace Press Secretary Undersecretary Claire Castro said Monday that no records, reports, or complaints have been filed regarding the supposed threats that prompted the vice president's statements. Castro's statement appears aimed at undermining Duterte's credibility as tensions between her office and the executive branch continue to escalate.

The challenge from Malacañang comes as Duterte navigates legal proceedings related to the grave threats charges. Her public expressions of concern about her safety have drawn scrutiny from administration officials, who maintain that no substantive documentation supports her allegations.
