Palawan has been recognised as Asia's Best Island in the Condé Nast Traveller 2026 Readers' Choice Awards, according to an announcement by the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) in Palawan on Monday.
The island destination achieved an impressive overall score of 98.99 points, positioning it well ahead of several other prominent Asian island competitors in the global travel publication's annual rankings.
The Condé Nast Traveller Readers' Choice Awards are among the travel industry's most respected accolades, determined by votes from the magazine's global readership. The recognition underscores Palawan's status as a premier tourism destination in Southeast Asia.
The award comes as the Philippines continues to promote its diverse island destinations to international visitors, with Palawan's pristine beaches, limestone cliffs, and underground rivers among its signature attractions.
