The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in Calabarzon confirmed that ecotourism operations at the Pamitinan Protected Landscape (PPL) will resume on September 19 following a closure period.
Located in Montalban, Rizal, the protected landscape is a significant natural and cultural heritage site that attracts visitors seeking outdoor recreation and ecological experiences. The DENR's announcement was made public Wednesday, September 16.
The reopening will allow residents and tourists to once again access the site for guided tours and nature-based activities. Visitors are expected to comply with environmental regulations and safety protocols established for the protected area.
