Pampanga university suspends classes following handwritten bomb threat

Classes at Our Lady of Fatima University in San Fernando were suspended Thursday morning after officials discovered a handwritten bomb threat, according to Col. Ricardo David, director of the Pampanga police provincial office.

The threatening note was found in one of the campus comfort rooms, prompting immediate action by school administrators and law enforcement personnel. David said police responded to the scene to conduct a thorough investigation and secure the premises.

No explosive devices were reported to have been found during the initial police response. The university's decision to halt classes reflected standard safety protocols when such threats are reported on educational facilities.

The incident marks the latest security concern at Philippine schools, where bomb threats have occasionally disrupted academic operations. Authorities appealed for information from the public that could assist in identifying those responsible for the threat.
