Pandora opens world's largest jewellery factory in Vietnam

Pandora, the Copenhagen-based jewellery maker, has inaugurated what it describes as the world's largest jewellery factory in Vietnam, positioning the Southeast Asian nation as a critical hub for its global manufacturing operations. The facility represents a major investment in the region and underscores the company's commitment to expanding production capacity to meet rising international demand.

Once fully operational, the factory is projected to employ approximately 7,000 workers, making it a significant contributor to Vietnam's manufacturing sector and local employment. The facility is equipped with advanced production technology and will adhere to international quality and sustainability standards.

The new factory will increase Pandora's overall manufacturing capacity by roughly 50 per cent, enabling the company to scale up production across its product lines. This expansion comes as the jewellery brand continues to strengthen its presence across Asian markets, including Malaysia, where consumer demand for branded jewellery has remained robust.

The investment reflects broader trends of international manufacturers relocating or expanding operations in Vietnam, drawn by competitive labour costs, improving infrastructure, and access to skilled workers. For Pandora, the facility consolidates Vietnam's role as a key manufacturing base alongside existing production operations in the country.
