The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Pangasinan approved a provincial resolution declaring the entire province under a state of calamity, citing the combined destructive impact of the enhanced southwest monsoon and tropical cyclones Luis, Maymay, and Neneng. Vice Governor Mark Lambino confirmed the declaration, which authorizes the local government unit to mobilize resources and access calamity funds for relief and rehabilitation efforts.
