BAYAMBANG, Pangasinan – Classes will not be held on campus in this central Pangasinan municipality on Friday, October 9, as the local government conducts a town-wide celebration of World Teachers' Day.
The suspension of onsite instruction will enable educators to participate in the municipal observance honoring their contributions to education. Town officials have arranged the schedule to prevent disruption to the academic calendar while recognizing the occasion.
To maintain educational continuity, schools in Bayambang will implement alternative learning arrangements during the class suspension. Students are expected to engage in asynchronous learning activities and complete modular distance learning assignments, ensuring that instruction continues despite the campus closure.
The decision reflects the municipality's commitment to acknowledging teachers' roles in student development while preserving the integrity of the school year. Local education officials coordinated with schools to establish the alternative learning protocols ahead of the suspension.
