Paras Dairy, KIS Group to invest ₹1,000 crore in 10 BioCNG plants

Bengaluru-based KIS Group and Paras Dairy have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly develop 10 BioCNG (compressed biogas) plants across Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and additional states, with a combined investment of ₹1,000 crore.

Under the partnership structure, KIS Group will manage technology deployment, plant construction and operational oversight, while Paras Dairy will handle feedstock procurement, land acquisition and regulatory approvals. The companies will establish a dedicated joint venture entity to oversee the project rollout.

KIS Group, established in 2006, operates as a clean technology specialist focused on biogas, BioCNG and bio-liquefied natural gas solutions. Paras Dairy operates production facilities in Sahibabad, Guloathi and Sandila across Uttar Pradesh, alongside plants in Malanpur, Madhya Pradesh and Newasa, Maharashtra, positioning it to supply consistent feedstock for the venture.

The collaboration was formalised at the IBET Expo, underscoring industry momentum toward renewable energy infrastructure. BioCNG plants convert organic waste into usable fuel, supporting both environmental objectives and energy security initiatives across India.
