PAS questions DAP's silence on Zahid case during 2022 coalition talks

Mardhiyyah pointed out that the issue surrounding Zahid's legal standing was not broached when DAP and Pakatan Harapan actively sought Umno's participation to secure the numbers needed to form administration after the 15th general election in November 2022.

"If this was truly a matter of principle, it should have been raised at that critical juncture," the PAS representative suggested, indicating that the current focus on the issue appeared politically motivated rather than principled.

The remarks underscore ongoing friction within Malaysia's governing coalition, with different parties accusing one another of inconsistent application of political values and standards.
