PAS refuses to compromise principles for political power

PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim has reaffirmed the party's commitment to its principles, stating it will not trade its core values for political power or control of Putrajaya.
Speaking at the party's annual assembly, Tuan Ibrahim emphasised that while PAS could potentially reach federal office if broader alliances were formed, the party would maintain its ideological stance regardless of such opportunities.
"It is not difficult to reach Putrajaya if we welcome all alliances," he said, but added that PAS would not compromise on its foundational principles to achieve political objectives.
