The situation, which could have escalated into a tragedy, was brought under control through the combined efforts of alert passengers and trained airline personnel who acted decisively to neutralise the threat.
Eyewitnesses reported scenes of panic as other passengers responded to the emergency. The attacker was rapidly subdued and secured until the aircraft could land at its destination.
The flydubai flight proceeded to land safely, where local authorities took custody of the detained individual. Emergency services and airport personnel were standing by to receive the aircraft and provide assistance to affected passengers and crew members who had endured the frightening ordeal.
